FOR SALE - OR - LEASE

This is the horse that constantly gets mistaken for a warmblood.

Adult Ammy friendly, or even for a horse-savvy teen. I wouldn’t call her a beginner-beginner’s horse, she's currently too "tuned up" for a beginner and has quite a bit of power when asked. Currently happy barefoot, stands for the vet, farrier, massage, chiro, dentist, body clipping. Kate enjoys having a job and loves dressage, she’s been lightly jumped and recently enjoyed free jumping!

She’s soft in the face, responds to seat aids, forward but not scary, she’s just an absolute dream boat to ride. She has a lead change, and will happily give it to you.
Kate shows up to work and will try her heart out for her human. She’s truly the reason that there are “mare people”.

She was my personal horse which means she spent some time on the back burner and has had a pretty easy life. This also means she is not in the best shape of her life so her canter transitions could use some work. Her price reflects this (and I've been told to price her higher still). She’s been a good horse to me, and there will definitely be tears when she moves on to her new home but I know she will make someone else incredibly happy.

Kate recently went to her first show and got right on the trailer (as usual) and handled the warm-up arena, standing at the trailer, energy of the show grounds and show ring well.

So if you’re a mare person and you’re looking for your next best friend. Kate just might be the one!

"Lady May"

This is the horse everyone is always asking for.
A teen working with a professional or an Adult Ammy could certainly bring this horse along. She's green, not mean. She tries every time, whether it's with ground work or under saddle without any funny business.

“May” retired sound from the track in 2022 so she’s had plenty of downtime, she’s had a baby and been living the good life between that time and now. I was told NO ankles, tendons, suspensory or track injuries.

Sporty bloodlines that will make you smile!

(A.P. Indy, Northern Dancer, 😍)

She has nice THICK legs and solid feet! (Which I don’t often say about TBs.)
She's barefoot and happy!

The thing I love most about her so far is how CONFIDENT she is! I’ve walked her around the farm on a loose lead rope and she hasn’t blinked an eye at a single thing. Even our “scary” obstacles didn’t phase her.

Lady May stands to be loved on, groomed, tacked up, bathed, stood on the crossties for the farrier, did I mention loved on? This mare is SWEET!

She’s a dream to lunge, she had fun over a few cross rails and raised poles, on the lunge and under saddle. She's a thinker, and figured out what we were asking of her pretty quickly. She's learning pretty quickly what her new career will be like, she's accepting of the bit, and starting to work into it. She has less than 5 rides on her, and has only gotten better each time!

She’s green but quiet and willing, trotting off happily. She’s offered nothing but wanting to please! If you want a horse you can hug, love and have it reciprocated, here's your girl. I'll even send you a video of her squishy nose (because we all know that's important!).

Lady May is a true bay, the kind of color people drool over. She is quiet and flashy enough to be a hunter prospect but brave and confident enough that I could see her taking her human cross country - or really anything her person asks of her.

Lady May will be an easy project or easily become your next heart horse. So big hearts beware, you just might fall in love!

She has an utd coggins, freshly trimmed hooves and is ready to go. She can continue her training at our farm or go to yours.

You know the drill, the longer she’s here the more training she will get and her price will go up.
